Overview

Dawki and Mawlynnong are two beautiful destinations in the northeastern part of India, specifically in the state of Meghalaya. Dawki is known for its crystal-clear river, the Umngot River, which forms a natural border between India and Bangladesh. The water is so clear that boats appear to be floating on air! The Dawki Bridge is a popular spot for enjoying the scenic beauty of the river. Mawlynnong, on the other hand, is renowned as the "Cleanest Village in Asia." It's famous for its community-based eco-tourism initiatives and the Living Root Bridges, which are unique structures made by weaving the roots of rubber trees.
