It's a peaceful and beautiful reminder of nature's power and beauty However, after enjoying this amazing sight, you have to walk back down the steep path and then drive back.

  • Start your trip at 3 am and proceed to Nongjrong for Sunrise. Nongjrong is a picturesque village located in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya is known for its stunning sunrises. The village, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, provides a  breathtaking view as the sun rises, casting a golden glow over the landscape. The journey to Nongjrong itself is scenic, with winding roads and panoramic views of the hills. The best time to witness the sunrise in Nongjrong is during the dry season, typically from October to March, when the skies are clearer.
